Aquatic Students' Association is one of the major students' associations registered under Department of Zoology, University if Sri Jayewardenepura in the year 2017. We are consisting with Undergraduate students of Aquatic Resource Management and functioning actively since 2015.
Our objectives
1. Taking meaningful actions regarding conservation of aquatic ecosystem.
2. To promote the appreciation and scientific study of the country’s oceanic and other aquatic environment
3. To promote the realization of the economic, recreational and aesthetic values of the country’s natural aesthetic resources
4. To cultivate a desire for aquatic ecosystem conservation among the people of Sri Lanka
5. To improve cooperation with other organizations having similar objectives in Sri Lanka
6. Helping students to cope with stress of studying by indulging in activities of the association.
